all your anger do not
sin. Do not let the
sun go down while you
are still angry, and
do not give the devil
a foothold. "

ANGER
Anger.
What a tremendous emotion!
Many a night men have
slept on couches for
expressing their anger
at their spouses. (myself
included)
Anger
is given to us by God,
but can there be constructive
anger?
Whenever I am in doubt,
I always ask, WHAT WOULD
JESUS DO?
The
Bible has examples of
Jesus expressing His
anger. The hypocrisy
of the Pharisees, the
people selling goods
in the temple, Jesus
clearly showed His displeasure
with people who made
themselves out to be
gods instead of showing
honor towards God.
But
Jesus showed nothing
but compassion, mercy
and grace when He was
confronted with people
who just didn't understand
God's love, or the ones
who were just plain
lost.
I
hope and pray the Lord
will help me to show
His unconditional love
when I feel the warm
rush of anger fill my
veins. Help me Lord
to be like Jesus and
to give justice without
always demanding it.
I pray I can show the
mercy and compassion
and grace my precious
Lord Jesus showed me
when He chose to die
upon the cross for my
sins, I pray in Your
precious and peerless
name.
Amen.
