when Herod saw Jesus,

for he had desired for
a long time to see Him,

many things about Him,
and he had hoped to
see some miracle done
by Him. Then he questioned

Charles Stanley wrote
on verse B that "Herod
had no interest in Jesus
the Messiah or Jesus
the Saviour, he simply
wanted to see a magic
show. Jesus refused
to speak a single word
to the King. No one
can manipulate Him into
doing their bidding."

God
won't be pressured into
changing His mind, God
isn't caught by surprise,
He isn't fallible, He
does not make mistakes,
He can't under estimate,
He does not lack wisdom.
He is Divine, Omnipotent,
Omniscient and Omnipresent
(all powerful, all seeing,
all present).
Instead
of cajoling God, we're
better served to seek
Him and obey Him.
Rejoice
in the Lord Always!
