FOREVER
IS A LONG TIME
At
the time of this writing
I had listened to President
Obama's address to the
nation as they commemorated
his first 100 days in
office. He spoke of
the incredible challenges
the nation and the world
was facing but he also
said that it was no
different for any generation,
that we all face challenges
and need to meet them
head on believing in
God and in each other.
Whether
there is an imminent
pandemic, a world economic
crises, global weather
disruption, the list
can go on, whether you
have trouble in your
marriage, a wayward
child, a serious health
predicament, whether
you are lonely, emotionally
fragile, troubled in
your spirit..God is
still God.
He
has not vacated His
throne, the world might
seem like it's going
to hell in a hand basket,
but God is no less in
control as He was in
the beginning.
We
just don't understand
His plan; we can get
whiffs of it when we
spend time in His Word.
If you took the time
to read or re-read Revelation
you will put today's
situation in a better
light and in some perspective.
I
encourage you to draw
closer to God when contested
with trials and tribulations.
You might not understand
what is happening but
you will be resting
in the arms of the One
who has it all under
control and who loves
you.
Rejoice
in the Lord Always!
